For individuals released pending trial under DuPage County jurisdiction.

RHM’s Pre-Trial Services Division provides logistical, financial, and case management support to individuals released pending trial to promote compliance, stability, and court engagement. All services are provided free of charge and are aligned with best practices for pretrial supervision support. Key Service Components: Case Management: - Intake assessment for needs, risk factors, and resource access. - Development of individualized stabilization plans. - Ongoing check-ins for compliance tracking and progress monitoring. Transportation & Scheduling Support: - Coordination of court and probation-related travel. - Reminders and documentation for attendance verification. - Assistance for clients with suspended or no licenses. Court-Appropriate Resources: - Provision of clothing, document preparation, and administrative support. - Facilitation of communication with public defenders and social service agencies. Basic Needs & Financial Support: - Grocery and essential item stipends. - Assistance in covering select court-related fees where applicable. RHM’s Post-Release Services Division provides coordinated case management for individuals recently released from incarceration, focusing on stabilization, employment readiness, and community reintegration. Services operate under a “housing-first” and trauma-informed framework. Core Service Areas: Housing Coordination & Stability: - Connection to transitional and permanent housing providers. - Support navigating eligibility, application, and financial documentation. - Short-term emergency lodging when available through partner networks. Identification & Documentation Support: - Coordination with the Illinois Secretary of State, Social Security Administration, and IDHS for state ID, driver’s license, and benefits reinstatement. - Notarization and documentation retrieval assistance. Employment & Education Pathways: - Referral to approved employment agencies (e.g., Safer Foundation). - Resume support, job-readiness workshops, and professional mentorship. - Enrollment guidance for GED, community college, or vocational programs. Case Management & MSR Navigation: - Assistance interpreting Mandatory Supervised Release (MSR) terms. - Coordination with parole officers and legal counsel for compliance. - Regular follow-up sessions to assess progress and barriers. Healthcare & Mental Wellness: - Referrals through DuPage County Health Department and NAMI DuPage. - Access to low-cost medical and behavioral health providers. - Crisis response coordination where needed.
