OUR PURPOSE IS
TRANSFORMATION.
Mission
Radical Hospitality Ministries provides pre-trial and post-release services, including housing referrals, case management, and holistic social support, for individuals navigating incarceration and re-entry in DuPage County and beyond.
Vision
A future where every person, regardless of their past, has the stability, opportunity, and community they need to live a flourishing life.

BORN FROM RESISTANCE,
BUILT ON FAITH.
Radical Hospitality Ministries began with a simple act of resistance.
When co-founders James and Katrina Baugh sought to rent a home that could one day provide stable housing for people leaving incarceration, they were denied due to illegal discrimination. Instead of giving up, they committed themselves to a future where a safe, permanent space would exist, that centers dignity, stability, and a chance to start over.
RHM is now actively working toward acquiring that property, ensuring it becomes a long-term, community-owned resource for justice-impacted individuals who need a place to rebuild.
Alongside Renaldo Hudson, a formerly incarcerated educator and now Director of Education at the Illinois Prison Project, they formed RHM, a nonprofit grounded in solidarity, not charity. Their belief is simple: those with lived experience are the experts.
Today, RHM’s work bridges pretrial and post-release support, helping individuals rebuild their lives through compassion, connection, and community, while laying the groundwork for a future residential site that will expand this mission even further.
